Kamy Akhaveissy

Kamy has recently joined Hunter Healthcare to support its offering to the interim projects and programme management market across the NHS. Coming in as a recruitment resourcer, Kamy searches for the most talented and ambitious individuals who want to drive positive change in the healthcare sector. Based out of the Leeds office, Kamy is looking to build a long and successful career in recruitment.

Born and raised in Beverley, Kamy graduated from Hull university with an honour’s degree in Law with Business. After careful consideration, he decided to move away from the Law route and enter the world of recruitment. In his down time, anything sports or music related is high on Kamy’s agenda, as well as spending time with family and friends.

“When I decided to pursue a career in recruitment, it was imperative to my development that I join a company that will help harness and develop my skills. After having interviews at various other recruitment firms, when I met with Hunter Healthcare, something felt different. I felt a sense of professionalism and passion amongst them in what they do day to day, something that was important to me. I would be joining a recruitment agency that wants to do things the right way, in being honest and transparent in their business, whilst also building long lasting relationships, both the former and the latter being things I hold in high regard. Ultimately, this showed to me that the company’s values aligned with my own, and in doing so, knowing I’d feel fulfilment in supporting a sector that affects everyone, healthcare.”
