David joined Hunter in January 2019 after an extensive search by Hunter Healthcare to find the right individual to lead and build their sub-board permanent recruitment offering. David has years almost fifteen years of public sector recruitment experience, having successfully recruited across multiple professional specialisms for the full range of public sector and not-for-profit organisations. After starting his career with a large multinational, David went on to spend almost eight years at Allen Lane, helping to build their Permanent Finance business, before he launched their Interim IT Business, whilst becoming a leading market figure, holding an enviable track record of 99% fill rate on retained business over the last six years, being responsible for over 350 permanent appointments in his career.
At Hunter, David will be looking to use his experience and broad market knowledge to establish a national specialist sub-board permanent recruitment practice, across Operations and Corporate Services whilst working closely with our established Executive Search and Interim Management teams. The opportunity to add market value is enormous, not only are good quality sub-board leaders in short supply and high demand, but Hunter is now able to interact with future Executives at a much earlier stage in their career. This has enabled us to significantly improve our talent management capability, candidate representation, candidate due-diligence and continued competitive market advantage.
