We have an exciting opportunity to join our Trust as Site Director of Operations. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Site Director of Operations will be responsible for the day-to-day operational site management of our hospital in East Surrey. This post acts as the lead Director on patient flow from arrival in ED to discharge. In addition, they will play a key role in ensuring the Trust delivers on the full range of performance targets and will lead the delivery of agreed performance indicators in relation to clinical outcomes and operational efficiency and flow. This is a pivotal role directing flow and the Site Director of Operations will need to work closely with our Divisional triumvirate teams to guarantee elective and non-elective delivery.
As a direct report, this post will regularly deputise for the Chief Operating Officer, providing direction and leadership to operational teams across our four operational divisions. This includes daily flow management to trust wide industrial action response and winter planning across the trust. There will be a strong emphasis on the need to embed staff appraisal and development of a culture of performance management and delivery, as a foundation for achieving our organisational objectives.
We are looking to speak with motivated, compassionate, and resilient leaders with extensive leadership experience in an acute healthcare provider setting. You will have an excellent track record of delivery at a senior operational level plus evidence of success in strategic level projects or work streams. You will be confident and comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels and be expected to establish and maintain relationships which enable the Trust to operate effectively with clinicians, managers and partners focused on improving outcomes and services to patients.
