Three non-executive directors – Northern Care Alliance
The Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust (NCA) is one of the biggest NHS organisations in the country. Serving the people of Salford, Oldham, Bury and Rochdale, and beyond, we recognise the important role we play in the lives of more than 1.3 million people, who rely on us to provide them with the best possible health and care services, both now and in the future. Our long-term plan – Vision 10, sets out how we will do that. It combines years of listening, feedback and insight from our People, our Populations and our Partners across our health and care services and learning from NHS organisations beyond our own. At its heart is a real focus on place and how we work with our system partners to develop outstanding standards of care for our local population.
We are looking for three individuals to join our Board as non-executive directors, to help ensure we are able to improve population health and health equity in our communities, harnessing the collective capabilities of our 20,000 colleagues along with the power of education, research and innovation to deliver more and better services to our patients and the communities we serve.
One of our new non-executive directors will have a clinical background and another will have strategic experience of using information and technology to drive improvement and change. All of them will have passion, energy and a deep commitment to the NHS, Greater Manchester and the North-West. They will also be able to draw on their personal and professional experience to help us achieve our mission – Saving Lives, Improving Lives.
We want our Board to include people with a broad spectrum of lived experience and are keen to attract candidates who can bring diverse perspectives. We welcome expressions of interest from the widest possible range of backgrounds, particularly those who are under- represented at Board level in the NHS.
