Croydon Health Services NHS Trust (CHS) is a trailblazer in integration to join- up health and care services for local people, in line with radical reforms in the NHS.
The Trust is also a forerunner in service recovery after being one of the hardest hit by the COVID-19 pandemic. Opening a ‘hospital within a hospital,’ the Trust was able to safely treat patients needed planned surgery and treatment throughout the pandemic and has been able to reduce waits for thousands of people as part of a coordinated response across the health and care system in South West London.
With more than 4,000 staff and volunteers caring for over 385,000 Croydon residents in south London, our vision is “Excellent care for all and helping people in Croydon live healthier lives”. Following the appointment of our new Chair, Yemisi Gibbons, we are looking to bring three new non-executive directors and an associate NED onto the Board. For the NEDs we are looking for individuals with a strong background in legal, finance or workforce development, while for the ANED we have no specific criteria in mind but are looking for a high performing individual who can add value to the Board. For all the posts, we are keen to attract candidates that have a personal interest in equality, diversity and inclusion and can demonstrate a track record on this important issue.
