Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health NHS Trust (BEH) provides integrated mental health and community health services to the people of North London, as well as some services regionally and nationally.
We employ more than 3,300 staff, which makes us one of the largest employers in the area and last year BEH helped care for more than 126,000 people from over 20 sites. We support people to overcome the hurdles they face with their health and well-being and help them get back into the community and to live as independently as they can.
Our vision is “to support healthy lives and healthy communities through excellent integrated mental and community healthcare” and we are now looking for new Non-Executive and Associate Non-Executive board colleagues to support us with this ambition. The NED will need to bring recent and relevant senior level finance experience with the capacity to chair the Audit Committee. For the Associate NED we are more open on professional background and are looking for a high performing individual who can add value to the Board.
For both roles we are looking for individuals who can bring diversity of thought and of lived experience and who are able to demonstrate a genuine commitment to our patients and to the promotion of excellent healthcare.
