Dorset County Hospital (DCH) are looking for two new NEDs to join our friendly, open and supportive Board of talented and committed executive and non-executive directors. Firstly someone who has a financial background to chair our Risk and Audit Committee, secondly someone who has experience in the field of population health, inequalities and the way in which NHS organisations can add social value to their local community. Beyond these specific skills, we want candidates who can bring different insights and perspectives, really challenging our thinking and helping us to do more for and with our population and staff. You will be joining us at a time when the new Dorset Integrated Care System will be taking shape, supporting our work with partners to refocus the health agenda, with a new emphasis on population health and health inequalities. This is a time of enormous challenge, but also huge potential opportunity; 2020 was an unprecedented year for us all, with many challenges and events that were unimaginable a year ago and this has continued into 2021.
