Royal Surrey NHS Foundation Trust (RSFT) is a clinically-led NHS trust focused on providing world-class, joined-up care for the communities we serve; bridging the gap between hospital and community services. We are now looking to appoint a new Non- Executive Director (NED) to join the Board. Applicants must have a genuine commitment to patients and the promotion of excellent health care services; they must be able to embrace and role model the Trust’s values; and they must be able to add value, independence and rigour to strategy development. Beyond this, we are specifically looking for an innovative, forward looking and engaging NED with significant digital expertise and an ability to communicate the potential benefits of digital transformation to a wide audience.
We are keen to consider candidates who can also bring diversity of thought, background and protected characteristics – while the Board as a whole currently has good age and gender diversity, we are less representative, for example, of the ethnic diversity we see in our staff and in the communities we serve.
