The Covid 19 Pandemic bought into sharp focus the need for our Trust to be resilient and adaptable and this continues to be a challenging time for our workforce, patients, and population. We are very proud of our workforce here at JPUH who continued to deliver high-quality care to the people we serve throughout that most difficult of times. That pride in our work and the amazing people we have helped us address the challenges brought about by the pandemic.
But we know that we and the rest of the NHS must continue to develop and improve its services despite these additional challenges. As a non-executive director on our Board, you will play a critical role in securing further improvement in performance and quality standards; helping to set the strategic direction of our organisation as part of the new Integrated Care System and ensuring that the voice and culture of JPUH and the community we serve are respected and maintained. All applications will be judged on their own merits, but we would particularly encourage and welcome applications from ethic minority, LGBTQ+ and people living with long-term health conditions as we are keen to increase the diversity of our Board to ensure it is representative of the local communities we serve.
We are looking for people with between 3 to 4 days a month to commit to us and who ideally live in, or have connections to, Norfolk or Suffolk.
