As a Group Non-Executive Directors at MFT you’ll work collectively with other Group Non-Executive Directors, the Group Chairman, Group Chief Executive and the Group Executive Directors and, in partnership with the Governors, you’ll work to ensure compliance with the terms of our license, the Trust’s constitution and contractual obligations. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of healthcare services, the application of the principles of corporate and standards of clinical governance and for the effective, efficient and economic exercise of the Trust functions.

  • An understanding of robust corporate governance will be important & strong experience of developing high level strategy with an effective understanding of health, education, business or commercial environments would also be advantageous.
  • Importantly, you’ll be an impressive collaborator; equipped to support further development of our vital external partnerships.
  • Finally, to add value to our existing Board of Directors and to support succession planning, we would welcome applications from candidates with either a clinical, accountancy and/or research and development background.
