We are looking for an exceptional Executive Director of Finance (DoF) to join our team at North East North Cumbria ICB.
North East North Cumbria ICB is a partnership of organisations that provide health and care across the North East and North Cumbria. Our ICB creates a way of working that sees all partners in the region coming together to improve the health of the communities we serve and reduce the health inequalities that exist. We strive to be the best performing ICB, working collectively to provide the best health and care for our local communities. Our delivery plans focus on the three key principals of prevention, personalisation and performance, and we are currently looking for an Executive Director of Finance (DoF) to support us on this journey.
The DOF is accountable for all matters relating to the financial leadership, financial governance, financial strategy and financial performance of the ICB. They will be key in the development and delivery of a robust financial strategy and plan to ensure the effective use of both ICB and system resources. They will reflect and integrate the strategies of all relevant partner organisations of the ICB, with a particular focus on ensuring financial coherence across the system. From a corporate perspective they will support team members in guiding and managing the delivery of services through area integrated care partnerships, sustainability and transformation partnerships, and devolution areas.
This is an opportunity to join an ambitious organisation in a senior leadership role. The ideal candidate will have a demonstratable track record in delivering high-quality and innovative financial programmes, with an ability to steer the direction of the ICB and influence, inspire and unify those along the journey. You will be a compassionate, values-driven leader with strong emotional intelligence and high integrity.
To improve the diversity of experience within our senior leadership team we strongly encourage applications from all sections of the community, particularly from under-represented groups, including women, people from black and minority ethnic communities, LGBTQ+ communities, younger candidates and from people with lived experience of disability.
