Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust (FHFT) is one of the larger Trusts in the NHS. They have a record of success that places them as one of the best performing Trusts in the country and they are part of one of the highest performing integrated care systems nationally.
They want to remain amongst the best in the future, so they have recently developed an exciting and ambitious strategy, ‘Our future FHFT’, which is underpinned by their strong values and sets out what they will be looking to achieve for their local communities over the next five years.
There are many great developments ahead as part of their significant transformation agenda, including:
Enabling their people to be the best they can be will be a key driver and enabler of their ambitions. For this reason, they have recently restructured their executive team to create a dedicated post of Director of People to provide their people agenda with the focus and leadership that it deserves for the future.
Their Director of People will be a pivotal role on their Board and executive team, providing leadership for their ambition to be in the top 10 employers nationally. Working closely with their Chief Executive, and leading on a comprehensive portfolio, you will help FHFT to deliver on their people plan, ensuring that their people are provided with the skills and knowledge required to work in different ways and that their workforce is fit for the care pathways of the future.
FHFT is seeking to appoint a talented and inspirational leader who will bring an innovative, creative approach and a transformational mindset to their team. A genuine people person, you will also demonstrate the inclusive, compassionate leadership abilities needed to develop a high-quality working environment and embed their values in every aspect of their work. You will be equally able to inspire staff internally alongside playing a major system role, developing strategic partnerships, embracing and working collaboratively across the local health and care systems.
Your experience, skills and values set are more important than the environment you have worked in, so we are keen to explore interest from individuals who offer experience from a range of other public and commercial sectors who can demonstrate the ability to make a genuine and lasting difference to the staff, patients, families, carers and communities of Frimley Health.
This is an exciting opportunity that will provide the successful candidate with excellent development and career progression.
