The Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) has a statutory duty to protect the public through our work to regulate nurses and midwives working in the UK, and nursing associates for England. Over the last few years our improvement and sustained performance has been acknowledged externally but we are focused on becoming an even more progressive regulator and one that inspires public confidence at all times.
In the past year we have developed our new organisational strategy for 2020 – 2025. This has involved a large shift in the way we work and how we wish to move forward as a modern, effective and efficient organisation based on continuous improvement and innovation.
To deliver the aspirations set out in our new strategy, we have created the post of Director of People and Organisational Effectiveness. As a member of the executive team, you will report directly to the Chief Executive and be instrumental in driving organisational excellence and enabling the delivery of the highest standards of service by:
We are looking for a highly talented leader with experience at director level, who has been accountable for the People agenda and other support functions. You will be a compassionate, empathetic and empowering individual with an impeccable track record of delivering significant change and innovation across large and complex organisations. Importantly, you will be motivated by a desire to continuously support better and safer care for people.
