Director, Dearden HR

Dearden HR is a successful consultancy business specialising in HR advice and support to clients. We manage significant and transformational organisational change, working with a range of individuals and organisations, particularly in the NHS, public and commercial sectors, and our support has included, but is not limited to, restructuring, cost improvement plans and organisational development, advice and support. Above all, our aim is to take the drama out of dealing with difficult people issues and work closely with our clients to agree clear objectives, positive outcomes and sustainable solutions.

Over the past few years our client base and our team has grown. This has brought on new opportunities for our future as a firm and so we are looking to recruit a new Director to join us.

As Director, you will play a crucial role in how we conduct and provide services to all organisations we work with. Of the Director leadership responsibilities, there are three crucial areas we are looking for our Director to lead on:

  1. Generating new business – scanning the horizon and gaining opportunities for our business to provide services to existing and new clients.
  2. Supporting and contributing to the management and leadership of our firm, managing our teams, enabling our future growth and working closely with the Managing Director in managing the smooth running of the business.
  3. Provide and undertake consultancy in the field, working closely with our clients and senior stakeholders to directly support them with their people problems and solutions.

The successful candidate will either have substantial experience of working in the NHS at or near Board level with an established network of colleagues across the NHS and/or consultancy experience in providing services to clients.
