An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional leader to join the Board of Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust as our new Chief Strategy, Improvement and Integration Officer[CSIIO]. We are now seeking an inspirational, innovative, driven and inclusive Chief Strategy, Improvement, and Integration Officer to join our talented Executive team and our wider multi-professional workforce of circa 3,500 staff. You will ensure the Trust is at the leading edge of strategy development, strategy deployment, quality improvement and wider integration at place, system and regional level to drive and deliver quality, clinical, patient and people experience within the Trust. With an exceptional track record of delivery in a Board or Sub Board level operational or clinical leadership role in a Provider setting, you will build credibility, inspire confidence and influence at all levels from ward to board.
You will have a strong track record in strategy development, deployment, and transforming services, using continuous improvement as a crucial driver for change, to deliver better patient outcomes, improve productivity and enable efficiencies. You will have experience of driving strategic transformation, through continuous improvement developing and inspiring people and supporting organisational development that embeds the connection between a healthy and positively engaged workforce, effective stakeholder management, excellent patient care and strong system partner relationships.
We are seeking a strategic, inclusive, and authentic leader, someone who is experienced in leading complex change and transformation to enable a step change in performance while being equally comfortable managing external relationships and priorities. You will be a strong leader of teams, living our values in all that you do, bringing challenge to thinking across the Trust in how we support and improve the wellbeing and health of our communities. Alongside this you will be an exceptional communicator with an understanding of how to support organisational change together with a proven ability to deliver transformation and improvement in provider settings. You will bring rigour, insight, thought leadership and empathy to everything we do, as well as, drive and energy to ensure we are first choice for patients and staff.
You will lead and further build a continuous improvement culture that is positive, learning centric, that places our people and patients at the heart of everything we do and welcoming of engagement and difference. As CSIIO you will demonstrate collaborative instincts and the ability to develop strategic relationships and leadership across our Integrated Health and Care Partnership and wider Integrated Care System, to improve the provision of care and health outcomes.
You will be comfortable providing challenge and advice to senior colleagues and bring a creative approach and strategic mindset that is solutions focussed. You will also have the capacity to lead the effective implementation of delivery programmes, balancing priorities and resources and ensuring delivery through measurable and timely progress. Critically you will bring a passion for ensuring the Trust is an exemplar in the areas of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, helping our staff to feel appreciated, supported, engaged and involved in the Trust’s successes. You will have a track record of delivering strong outcomes for patients, organisation and leadership development with an unwavering focus on experience and patient care.
