Chief Strategy and Transformation Officer

Job summary

Hampshireand Isle of Wight Integrated Care System (ICS) isa partnership of local NHS and local government organisations working together to improve the health and wellbeing of our local communities. We are one of the largest health and care systems in the country with a long history of working in partnership to make lives better. Our ICS has been created to better join up hospital and community services, physical and mental health services and health and social care. Working together, we take collective responsibility for managing resources, delivering care and improving the health of the populations we serve. We have been working together to co-ordinate services more closely, to make real, practical improvements to people’s lives, providing more consistency of care, breaking down barriers between services and reducing inequalities.

Coming together as an Integrated Care System (ICS) is a new and exciting way of working and gives us a greater opportunity to make real, lasting change, far more than we could do by working independently. To support our joined-up approach, we are creating a single joint Executive Leadership Team that will incorporate the ICS leadership arrangements and CCG statutory portfolios. As an ICS we will commit to ensuring the right start in life, to enabling individuals to thrive with lives to be well lived and to hospital care being available for those who need it.
