The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust comprises the Hillingdon and Mount Vernon Hospitals which together serve a population of around 350,000 people who live in the London Borough of Hillingdon and the surrounding area. We are the only acute hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and are proud to offer a wide range of acute services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services, as well as being the receiving hospital for Heathrow.
Since 1 April 2022, we have been a partner in the North West London Acute Provider Collaborative which strengthens collaborative decision-making and helps make the most effective use of resources to provide better care for the people of North West London. We have over 3,500 members of staff that are proud to care for nearly half a million people, with a vision to be an outstanding provider of healthcare through leading health and academic partnerships, and transforming services, to provide the best care where needed.
We have an exciting opportunity to join our Trust as Director of Productivity and Efficiency. Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, this pivotal role will lead the development and implementation of strategies to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and optimise operational efficiency across the Trust and beyond. Our Director of Productivity and Efficiency will focus on identifying areas for improvement and implementing best
practices to achieve cost efficiencies without compromising the quality of patient care. This is a crucial role for our Trust and will be responsible for driving operational excellence while maximising resource utilisation.
We are looking to speak with senior leaders who have significant experience in identifying areas for cost reduction and implementing sustainable solutions that improve operational efficiency and financial
outcomes. You will have an excellent track record of delivery within healthcare operations and financial management and an ability to engage and communicate with stakeholders at all levels. Our partnership organisations are critical in ensuring successful strategy delivery, so in this role you will work closely with senior leadership, our NWL Acute Provider Collaborative and NWL ICB to develop and execute comprehensive action plans that address financial, operational, and cultural challenges.
In return, you could be part of an upward journey, in which there is both permission and support to be innovative to ensure we develop an outstanding productivity and efficiency function.
We encourage applications from people of all backgrounds and welcome applications from underrepresented groups. In recruiting to our Trust, we are committed to equality of opportunity for all. We believe that the best organisations are those that reflect the communities they serve. We especially welcome applications from candidates from Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic heritage, LGBTQ+ communities, and from people with lived experience of disability.
