On the 27th of June, Hunter Healthcare attended the Generation Success Mentorship Event at the 2022 London Careers Festival – a yearly festival that aims to inspire young people by connecting them with leading industry professionals.
Generation Success is a network that advances social mobility by encouraging young people of diverse backgrounds to achieve their career aspirations. This year, Hunter Healthcare partnered with Generation Success in providing CV and careers advice to talented young students between the ages of 16 to 18.
In attendance were Mandy Honig, Melina Taank, and Sabrina Iskandar from the Digital and Informatics team, Isobel Harrop and Haleema Ahmed from the Hunter Clinical team, and Alex-Paige Bishop from the Life Sciences team who all led discussions with Hunter’s core values in mind: to do right, choice, and to learn.
At the event, participants had various one-on-one mentoring sessions with the Hunter Healthcare team where they gained diverse perspectives on academic and professional pathways. Participants were also encouraged to discuss their interests, career ambitions, and long-term personal goals.

The questions, thoughts, and ideas shared by participants gave the Hunter Healthcare team the opportunity to better understand how to support the learning of others.
