Brendan spent the two years before joining us here at Hunter Healthcare gaining his Masters in Organisational Psychology in NZ.
During his time studying for his masters, he undertook assignments to solve real organisational problems, one of which included the development of an entire recruitment and selection program for the HR Director of a multinational agriculture organisation.
Before his Masters, Brendan graduated with a BA Psych from Victoria University of Wellington, that included a 12-month exchange program to the University of Texas in Austin, also completing a MSc in Industrial/Organisational Psychology graduating top of his class with Distinction, and having his thesis approved for academic publication in 2019.
Outside of work, Brendan enjoys the gym, Xbox, lego, reading, football and almost anything that involves exercise!
“Hunter is a super place to work. The people, the culture. I had multiple offers at the time I took this job but what set this apart from other offers (aside from the awesome vision to change healthcare .the NHS) was the people that worked here.
When things get difficult, you want good people around you and Hunter has the best people. I enjoy working here for the above reasons as well as the intellectual stimulation of ‘headhunting’ in Executive Search, the casual dress code, unlimited holidays which helps me get home to see family –and incredible growth opportunities”.
