The three Coventry and Warwickshire CCGs are focused on maximising health outcomes for local patients. We believe this is best achieved by greater integration and more joint working, so we have agreed to consolidate our leadership and appoint a single Accountable Officer. The post holder will be instrumental in providing system leadership, transitioning us to a single strategic commissioning voice as soon as possible in line with the NHS Long Term Plan, engaging leaders through ‘place’, and helping us to influence and shape the future development of a mature Integrated Care System with health and social care partners.
This role will be stimulating and challenging in equal measure. To support our journey, we are seeking a transformational, partnership-oriented senior leader with a strong commitment to collaboration and co-production. You will have a clear vision for integrated care, be passionate about addressing the wider determinants of health, and have a strong track record of driving and delivering significant change across large and complex organisations. You will be politically astute, have excellent interpersonal skills and have the ability to harness the collective power of a strong and established group of health and care leaders. Importantly, too, you will be able to inspire our staff, create a positive and aligned culture across our organisations, and highly value the contribution of patients and residents in decision making.
